This project, "The Shabbat Album" has been in the works conceptually/physically for a long time and it feels special to release this first song. Our goal is to take a combination of the songs we grew up with at home, as well as those we've met along the journey of life and combine them into one body of work that reflects the variety of colours within Judaism and music. Its especially exciting for us to have our dear friend Shlomo Katz feature on this song with us. This entire year, we’re going to be releasing one song on the first Thursday of every month. It feels most appropriate that the first month is Shevat which symbolises blossoming and growth.
