Born on February 22 in Paris, Lamia came to settle in Casablanca with her grandparents when she was one year old. She grew up within an artistic family which explains her leaning at a young age towards singing, dancing and even acting. Her main inspiration in cinema has always been Fred Astaire, Gene Kelly, Audrey Hepburn and the TV series Fame.

It is in northern Africa that Lamia started to achieve part of her childhood dream and began to sing. She then discovered her vocal tendencies and the world of jazz, rhythm’n blues and soul.

She sang in some of the most prestigious European and Middle Eastern venues and is a recorded artist. She was awarded in 2002 Best French-speaking singer at the 6th "Tremplin des étoiles" contest in Montelimar (France).

But while working professionally as a singer, she could never let go of her acting desires and when she moved to Belgium, decided to train in various acting schools and workshops in Brussels to pursue her acting career as well.

On top of that, Lamia has booked many TV commercials in Morocco for the last decade as well as well plays and more recently she has been booking commercials regularly in Belgium.

Lamia has a few projects coming up in the feature film realm. There is no doubt about her bright future in the movie industry where she will put all her talents for use.
