La chaîne hôtelière Axel Hotels ouvre son premier hôtel à Cuba, le Telegrafo Axel Hotel . Comme le rapporte l'entreprise, il occupe le bâtiment qui serait le plus vieil hôtel du pays, ayant été ouvert en 1860. L'établissement, géré par Axel Hotels, appartient à Gaviota, le principal groupe hôtelier de Cuba et dispose de 63 chambres et de différents espaces de loisirs, de gastronomie
